Commissions & Collaborations

I’ve worked on a number of projects with or for other artists or organisations. From remixes though to collaborations through to commissions for theme music. You can play some examples below…

If you are interested in working with me, then please get in touch – I’m keen to do more collaborations, including with other art/creative projects as well as musicians.

Remixes

I’ve done a few remixes our the years, here’s a couple of my favourites…

Collaborations

11:11 Invasion was a project by The Electronic Music Alliance that paired up electronic music producers and rappers at random. I was lucky to be paired with a fantastic rapper from California called Fat Pockets. This is what we created together (Note – some of the lyrics are firmly NSFW!)

Commissions

I’ve had some of my music included in mainstream Playstation/PC games by Llamasoft, and have also written bespoke themes for a boutique theatre company.

The example below was for a play called ‘The World and Everything Else’. The brief was to create a national anthem for the country the play was set in – Baldavia. Specifically, “I’m really interested in the orchestra idea- something that maybe sounds like a national anthem? But wrong? Discordant? Miss timed?”

After a few iterations with the writer/director providing feedback, this is what we ended up with. I was channelling Vulgaria from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with a strong LEs Dawson influence. As off-beam as that sounds, I think the writer/director liked it…” BLOODY LOVE IT! ITS JUST BRILLIANT! The growing discordant sound, the cymbals that feature too often. It’s exactly right[…] You’ve got the pompous and overblown to a tee! It’s terrible in the best possible way.”

The Baldavian National Anthem (Ending 1 – cymbals falling down stairs)
